（中央社記者楊思瑞台南8日電）1名中國大陸籍的王姓男子帶著1封26年前的信件來台尋親，但地址上的老舊眷村已經拆除。台南與高雄兩地警方合作尋找資料並協助訪查，王男昨天順利找到嬸嬸，為長輩完成心願。
台南市政府警察局永康分局指出，6日接獲高雄市政府警察局苓雅分局成功路派出所轉報，大陸籍王姓男子受母親委託來台尋親，求助於警方，希望能幫他找尋失聯已久的叔叔。
警方指出，王男向警方表示，父親與叔叔因時代背景分隔台海兩地；自己小時候家境貧困，叔叔與嬸嬸在民國79年到大陸探親時，曾經對父親提出金錢援助，讓父親渡過難關。母親心繫在台灣的恩人，因此委託他帶著一封26年前的信到台灣，依照信封上的地址尋人。
警方指出，由於信封上的地址「台南縣永康鄉小東路慈光九村」為老舊眷村，不堪居住已經拆除，住戶都已搬離。最後由高雄警方提供的眷村改建戶籍資料，再由復興派出所警員蔡育進、吳昱德協助查訪，終於找到王男的嬸嬸。
警方指出，王男與嬸嬸昨天見面時相擁甚歡，重逢的一刻令人動容，還拿著26年前的信封及照片侃侃而談；但遺憾的是王男的叔叔已不在人世，只能向已故的叔叔祭拜上香，表達思念、感謝之意。
王男向警方表示，台灣警察非常熱誠、貼心，服務、效率都很良好。復興派出所警員最後還贈送一盒方塊酥給王男，讓他感受到台灣的人情味。1051108
